NARS Sheer Glow in Stromboli - Sold out!?!

NARS Sheer Glow is my all time favorite foundation. Recently, I wanted to buy another bottle for my back up. It has been no where to be found. Sold out at Sephora for weeks and even on the NARS website. I even checked, Bloomingdales, and other online retailers. I physically went to a few Sephora stores in my area and they were completely sold out. What is going on? I have noticed that NARS has repackaged a few of the make up line. Could this be the case for my beloved Sheer Glow.

Read my full review here. See MAC NC30 shade comparisons here.

After a long search, I found it at Nordstrom. Nordstrom was out of stock of my shade for a while too. As of today April 30, 2014, Nordstrom has it! Get it here

Anyone have any details about the low stock in Sheer Glow? Has it been that popular? I've never had an issue trying to find it. Anyways, hope this helps.

April 2014 Favorites (Favorite Products of the Month)

Beauty Blender and the Beauty Blender Solid Cleanser
I have fallen in LOVE with the Beauty Blender ever since I got it last year. It applies all types of foundation and concealers flawlessly and takes no time at all. It has cut my foundation application in half! I love how it makes my skin look airbrushed when I apply my foundation with this amazing sponge. Next is the Beauty Blender Solid Cleanser. What was I thinking? I have waited so long to try this out and I am so glad I did. Simply cuts cleaning my beauty blender in half the time. Nothing compares to this product to clean my beauty blender. Also, this does an amazing job cleaning my brushes! I actually cleaned all my brushes and it didn't take me as long as it usually does. This product works wonders. I will definitely repurchase these products over and over again.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
This foundation has been my go-to foundation for days where I need my foundation to last all day. I can work a 12 hour shift and my foundation will still look great at the end of the shift. It didn't even break up at all. 842 is a perfect shade for me. I am a MAC NC30. This shade (842) does oxidize but not too dark for my complexion. It actually is a perfect match. Concealer isn't necessary with this foundation. I do, however, set this foundation with my MAC MSF Natural in Medium Plus (My go to setting powder). Read my review on this foundation [here]

Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown
So worth it! I have been using my Rimmel eyebrow pencil for years. I have purchased countless pencils but I really wanted to try something new. I decided to splurge on the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown. Perfect shade for my dark dark brown hair. The pencil is super thin, which I love. It makes applying to my eyebrows so easily. I love the spooly on the other end to comb out my lashes to blend the color. I will continue to repurchase this product in the future. I already have a back up!

Marc Jacobs Eyeliner in Blaquer and Maybelline gel eyeliner in blackest black
I love makeup that I don't have to think about throughout the day. These eyeliners have been my go-to eyeliners. I use the Marc Jacobs eyeliner to tight line and apply to my waterline. This eyeliner does not budge. AT ALL. It literally will stay on for days if it could. It is so difficult to remove but I do appreciate that. My eyeliner will not go anywhere! Also, the Maybelline gel eyeliner has been my favorite. It has not dried out and I've had it for months. It lasts all day and it's so easy to apply. I use my MAC 226 brush (angled eyeliner brush) to apply my eyeliner.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner in Black
I use this eyeliner to top off my Maybelline Gel eyeliner. I love a really black eyeliner and I also like my eyeliner to look clean cut. This eyeliner helps smooth out my line I create with the gel eyeliner. Since it's waterproof, it helps keep my gel eyeliner on. This eyeliner on it's own will also not budge. I'm not very skilled with liquid liners like this so I usually start off with my gel liner then top it off with this. I love it!

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked 2
My all time new favorite nude lipstick. Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked 2 has been my go to all month long. It's creamy and does not dry out my lips. Even when my lips are looking chapped (like always) it doesn't accentuate any of the dryness. Instead it helps moisturize my lips. Perfect nude shade. It leans toward more of a brown nude, which is perfect for my NC30 skin tone.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick + Naked Lipgloss in Nooner/Walk of Shame

Last but not the least, I top off my lipstick with the Naked Lipglosses in Nooner or Walk of Shame. But similar in shade but I prefer Nooner because it goes well with the brown shade in Naked 2. I still am not too fond of the smell but I'm getting used to it. Thanks to my sister for hooking it up with Nooner!

That's it for my favorites! Hope you enjoyed. I've never done a post like this in the past so I hope you enjoyed. I plan to do another one for May.

Until next time,
Lenein <3

Beauty Blender Solid Cleanser - Saved my Beauty Blender

$15.95 at Sephora.

This picture is after I've used it. I rinsed off excess residue on the actual cleanser.

All clean!

Beauty blender cleanser retails at Sephora for $15.95. I was very hesitant to buy this for a very very long time. One, I was afraid it was going to break me out because it was a solid and I am allergic to an ingredient in bar soap. Next, I just read you can use facial cleanser to clean it so that's what I've been doing. After all this time, I don't know what I was waiting for. I have wasted MAC's brush cleanser, facial cleanser, dish soap, antibacterial soap on trying to clean my beauty blender. This cleanser was so easy to use and cut the time cleaning it by at least 80%! It literally took me 30 seconds to clean my beauty blender. So quick, I decided to clean my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge with it too. I have also used it with all of my makeup brushes. I can't believe how fast it took me to clean all of them. Once I lathered the cleaner in the brushes, it immediately pulled out the makeup. It works so well! Don't hesitate to buy it. It's worth it. I have NEVER EVER had my beauty beauty this clean using other products in the past.

How to use:
Wet your beauty blender as if you were going to use it. Rub the beauty blender into the cleanser then lather it in your hands and SQUEEZE out that make up. Rinse out with water and you're done. Leave it out to dry as usual. After I'm finished, I take out the solid completely out of the container and dry it out with a paper towel. Close it up until the next use.

Just buy it. I was so against buying it in the past but it is soooo worth it. Saves me time and I feel better using it when it's clean every day.

UPDATE (09/15/14): I found a dupe! Read about it [here]. I love my Solid Cleanser but I found a cheaper alternative!
